"We plan to invest to get behind winning and doing better next season," Kroenke wrote in his end of season message.
"We’re delighted we have our sporting director, Andrea, who will play an important role in this. He is part of a unified and strong team, supported by the board, who are crystal clear on exactly what we need to do and the way in which we want to do it.
"Ultimately, we all want the same thing. We’re as hungry for success as you are and that goes for everyone who works for the club.
"We have brilliant people right across Arsenal and I want to thank every member of staff for the dedication they have shown again this season. It’s something we have reflected on this week and it never goes unnoticed."
"Finish the season, go to the beach and make sure the ones upstairs (hierarchy) do what they need to do."
Though plenty of words have been said, there is yet to be much action at Emirates Stadium in comparison to Liverpool, Manchester City and now Manchester United. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, United are close to agreeing a deal for Matheus Cunha from Wolves with his £62.5million release likely to be activated.
Arsenal have been linked to the Brazil international but him no longer being available on the market could actually benefit their pursuit of Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres. With a big fee committed to Cunha, Arsenal could have a free run at the Swede given links to Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has completed the first part of his medical with the remainder scheduled for Monday, as per journalist Ben Jacobs.
With a right-back set to join, Liverpool are also moving closer towards strengthening the opposite flank as talks are advancing for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez.
, football.london understands and a left-back could be the position strengthened. With Liverpool already focused on their chosen addition, Arsenal can take their pick from a number of options.
Ajax's Jorrel Hato is one of those and he has been linked to an Emirates Stadium switch for some time but Chelsea are also now believed to be in the race for his signature.
