Eberechi Eze has emerged as a player of serious interest to Thomas Frank and Tottenham ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign. North London rivalsArsenalare, also, understood to be longer-term admirers of Crystal Palace's playmaker, but it's Spurs who could make the first move.
Sami Mokbel from the BBC argues Spurs, who are also in talks with Manchester City for versatile forward Savinho, are also keen on a swoop for the England international. The report claims there's no indication yet at to whether or Spurs are looking to do a deal for both players, but are exploring their options.
Mikel Arteta's title hopefuls Arsenal have also been heavily linked with Eze in the current summer transfer window, but football.london understands the Gunners are focussing on offloading players.

The new deal for Ethan Nwaneriand emergence of Max Dowman means Eze is not a priority for Arsenal in the final few weeks of the window, but they do hold an interest in the 27-year-old.
Arteta and key figures upstairs are planning to offload the likes of Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira, having spent around £192.6million on Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi, Cristhian Mosquera, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard.
Tottenham, on the other hand, are in the market for attack minded additions following the serious injury to James Maddison last week. The playmaker is set for a lengthy spell on the side-lines after damaging his ACL.
It's unclear, at this stage, if Spurs were to make a move for Eze, whether Arsenal would then in turn also approach Crystal Palace looking to do a deal. football.london understands Eze has a £68million release clause, in his current Palace deal, which expires before the start of the upcoming campaign.
