"If Liverpool can win the league the next year and if I don't disturb, I would be around and watch the [bus] driving through the city."

Earlier this year, as Liverpool looked set to lead the Premier League, Klopp reiterated his intentions, saying: "Yes, the plan is [to be there for the celebrations] but not on the bus. I will be there where the people are. That's the idea, but we will see.",

He also expressed his intention to attend Liverpool's final match of the season against Crystal Palace at Anfield, admitting that his absence from the iconic stadium was due to superstition.

"I will be there for the last game," he said. "I didn't want to go earlier to be honest because I didn't want to jinx it! Liverpool wins all the time and I'm the first time in the stadium and we lose! So, I'll go there when it's decided."

"I wouldn't mind him (Klopp) coming. I invited him, I think, to the (Manchester) City and Real (Madrid) games, but he told me he has a job and is somewhere else in the world," Slot said. "He can be here every single time he wants to come - either to the training ground or the games. He is more than welcome.
