CBSE Private Students Registration 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education has started preparations for the 10th and 12th board exams. After starting the LOC (List of Candidates) registration process for regular school-going students, the board is going to start registration for private students of classes 10th and 12th.
The registration process for these private students will start on September 9. The last date to register is September 30. Registration can be done by visiting the official website of the board. Private students can fill out the online form throughwww.cbse.nic.in. The board has issued guidelines in this regard. Students will have to pay a fee of Rs 1600 for five subjects by September 30 to fill the form.
This much fee will have to be deposited.
At the same time, if someone wants to take the exam for one subject, then Rs 320 will have to be paid. To take the exam for an additional subject, Rs 320 will also have to be paid per subject. For practical fees, 12th-class students will have to pay a fee of Rs 160 per practical. Private students who could not apply till September 30 will be able to apply with a late fee from October 3 to October 11. Students will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 2000 as late fee.
The exam center selected while registering online will be allotted on the basis of that.
Which students will get the opportunity?
CBSE has clarified that the application form and fee have to be paid in online mode only. Students will not be able to apply after the last date is over. Students who failed in board exams 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 can apply and appear in the year 2026 examination.
Main and Supplementary Exam 2024-25 Students who got compartment in main and supplementary exam can also apply. Students who failed in 2024-25 or have been placed in the essential repeat category can also apply.'
