The Hera Pheri franchise has a cult fan following of its own. It needs no introductions or reiterations. What it now needs is a miracle because while the entire fan base was waiting for the third movie to drop soon, Paresh Rawal has confirmed his exit from the project. Yes, you read that right! Everyone’s favourite Babu bhaiya has decided to step back.
I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.

This piece of news has fueled a lot of fire on the internet today. The fans are obviously disappointed and have taken over social media to express the same.
Even though Paresh Rawal has changed a lot as an actor. Most of his perfomances feel the same. Still he was the soul of Hera Pheri as Babu Rao. The film is unimaginable without him. #HeraPheri3 pic.twitter.com/fOFHwWT4lb

We can't imagine anyone else playing 'Babu Bhaiya" other than Paresh Rawal sir 🥺#PareshRawal #HeraPheri3pic.twitter.com/chTkQvUMuJ https://t.co/7M8kXtdr35
There's no point in making Hera Pheri 3 if Paresh Rawal has left the project. Best to junk the idea.

In everyone’s humble opinion, there is a unanimous voice on the internet asking the makers to not make the movie without OG Babu Rao.
The Hera Pheri franchise kicked off back in the year 2000 with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. Helmed by Priyadarshan, the team came with its sequel Phir Hera Pheri in 2006, which was then directed by Neeraj Vora. After a long wait, the third movie was confirmed but looks like this hiccup is going to be difficult for the makers to combat.
