Elon Musk Calls OpenAI CEO 'Scam Altman'; Heated Exchange Between Two More Thrilling Than An Action Movie

Elon Musk continues to battle with OpenAI and Apple in a series of tweets that have created a storm on the Internet. After accusing Apple of antitrust behaviour and endlessly shaming ChatGPT's latest version, Musk even threatened to sue for promoting ChatGPT on the App Store. This has sparked a heated exchange between Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, with the latter calling out Musk's hypocrisy and accusing him of doing the same on his X platform. Musk, in return, calls the OpenAI exec 'Scam Altman.'

In reponse to Musk's accusations against Apple, Altman says that he does the same with X to 'benefit himself'. "This is a remarkable claim given what I have heard alleged that Elon does to manipulate X to benefit himself and his own companies and harm his competitors and people he doesn't like," Altman said in a post on X.

To this, Musk replied, "You got 3 million views on your bullshit post, you liar, far more than I've received on many of mine, despite me having 50 times your follower count!" Altman cheekily said that this could either be a 'skill issue' or could just be 'bots'.

Altman replied, "Will you sign an affidavit that you have never directed changes to the X algorithm in a way that has hurt your competitors or helped your own companies? I will apologize if so."

Altman even shared an article from 2023 that alleges Musk having altered the X system to show his tweets first. He added, "I hope someone will get counter-discovery on this, I and many others would love to know what's been happening. But OpenAI will just stay focused on making great products."

Musk is known for his brawls with popular personalities, and by the looks of it, Altman is ready to give it back, calling out the hypocricy openly. Musk, in turn, called him 'Scam Altman' and even shared a screenshot that showed ChatGPT calling Musk more trustworthy than Altman. This feud is more thrilling that a sci-fi Hollywood flick!
