Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Army officers called on Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Wednesday and urged allocation of a land near Mahakal temple in Ujjain to construct a transit facility for servicemen and ex-servicemen, said officials here.
Lt Gen Prit Pal Singh, General Officer Commanding Sudarshan Chakra Corps met the Chief Minister and discussed various issues of military and civil fusion. The Corps Cdr highlighted the proposal to provide suitable land close to Mahakal Temple for construction of a Transit Facility for servicemen and ex-servicemen.
He also proposed to facilitate provision of suitable land parcels at Gwalior, Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur for construction of homes for serving soldiers and veterans by Army Welfare Housing Organisation (AWWA).

Chief minister Mohan Yadav will visit New Delhi on Thursday to attend BSL Global Outreach Summit 2025, a two-day convention of textile and apparel industries.
The chief minister will visit Madhya Pradesh State Pavilion at Bharat Mandpam and hold deliberations with heads of textile companies on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
He will hold one-to-one meeting with representatives of Walmart, H&M, Wild Craft, Blackberry. He will shed light on investment possibilities and state’s textile policy.
