Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The people taking the benefits of government schemes through fraudulent means may be in trouble in the coming days. The Science and Technology Department has issued a notification that says Aadhaar number will be necessary for taking the benefits of any government scheme.
The Aadhaar number will be necessary for taking the benefits of all 93 government schemes. The government will verify those who are taking the benefits of the schemes, with the help of Aadhaar number. The process has been made mandatory for those who do not have an Aadhaar number.
The documents of Aadhaar cards of those who have applied for it will be checked. If a beneficiary is above 18 years and if he does not have Aadhaar number, his birth certificate, Indian passport, mark sheet issued by the school will be verified.
If those who are above 18 years and do not have an Aadhaar card, the administration will verify the application form for Aadhaar card. Such beneficiaries may also submit voter’s ID, ration card, caste certificate, mark sheet of class 10 and class 12 of a recognised school and driving licence.
Such documents will acceptable. Verification of entire ID will be done for such schemes as require such ID. There are 120 schemes for which an entire ID is required.
