Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-RSS during a public rally in Bhopal. Taking a pointed dig at PM Modi regarding the ceasefire, Gandhi remarked, "One call from Trump came, and Narendra [Modi] surrendered."
Addressing the party convention at Ravindra Bhawan in Bhopal on Tuesday, Gandhi said, "An ideological battle is underway. On one side stands the Congress and the Constitution; on the other are the BJP and RSS, who neither abide by it nor wish to preserve it. They are systematically capturing India's institutions and slowly suffocating the nation. The second struggle is for social justice. In the Lok Sabha, I pledged to the nation that I would work to pass the caste census in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha."
ट्रंप का एक फोन आया और नरेंद्र जी तुरंत surrender हो गए - इतिहास गवाह है, यही BJP-RSS का character है, ये हमेशा झुकते हैं।

"I've come to understand the BJP and RSS well," he continued. "Apply even slight pressure, and they recoil in fear - exactly as happened when Trump called and said, 'Narendra, surrender.'"
The Congress party has been running a social media campaign against the BJP and Prime Minister Modi, building a narrative that Modi capitulated to former US President Donald Trump. Trump has repeatedly claimed credit for brokering the India-Pakistan ceasefire, asserting he averted a potential nuclear conflict by threatening both nations with trade sanctions.

Rahul Gandhi accused the government of resisting implementation despite announcing plans for a caste census. Addressing the gathering, he stated, "We pledged to champion social justice by ensuring passage of the caste census in the Lok Sabha. When confronted, Narendra Modi, Mohan Bhagwat and Nitin Gadkari offered multiple explanations, but ultimately capitulated under minimal pressure."
"The BJP-RSS leadership has paid lip service to the caste census under duress, while actively obstructing its execution. This reveals their true priorities - they seek an India that serves Adani and Ambani, not an India founded on social justice," Gandhi asserted.
