Thousands of people have been left after a huge pipe burst this morning, leaving homes and businesses struggling.
Water collection zones have been for those affected by the ongoing issue, with pick ups available between 8.30am and 10pm. Residents in the area have reported large queues already building up as people wait to collect bottles of water to take home until the ongoing issue is fixed. Teams from South West Water worked throughout the night in an attempt to solve the problem after a pipe burst, but it continues to cause bank holiday nightmares for many.

One fed up resident told : "Lots of homes are affected. There are now huge queues for the George Park and Ride. I’m in the queue now.
"They were letting people park and collect water by hand, but this has now stopped and it's a drive through only. So tensions are high as now people have to rejoin the queue. I don’t know how you collect if you are on foot from the nearby estate."
Another person added: ": "It's a bit chaotic up here. They're finding it difficult to control and there are not many staff here from South West Water.

"As I'm able bodied person I thought I'd get out of the car and walk but as they are running it like a drive through, which is causing quite a bit of delays, I have had to get back in the car and rejoin the queue."
A spokesman for South West Water said there is currently no timescale for the service to be resumed. They added: "Due to a burst main on our network, some customers in PL6, PL19 and PL20 may be experiencing a loss of supply. Our team have been working through the night to repair the burst and remain on site working to restore supply as quickly as possible.
"We are very sorry for the disruption caused and would like to thank you for your patience. We have set up two Water Collection points for customers experiencing interruptions to their supplies. These are located at George Park and Ride, Tavistock Road.
"Water will be available for collection throughout the day, between 8.30am and 10pm. We will also be delivering bottled water to all customers on our Priority Services Register."
