Kendall Jenner is signalling a shift away from the unrelenting glare of fame, revealing plans to embrace a quieter, more grounded lifestyle.
The 29-year-old supermodel, who first entered the public eye at just 11 thanks to Keeping Up With The Kardashians, says she increasingly values simplicity over the spotlight. In a candid conversation with Vogue alongside friend Gigi Hadid, Kendall admitted: “I swear to God, I’m going to stop everything and just design homes. I’m not kidding.”
She explained that her life in Los Angeles is comfortable, but she craves more everyday freedom: “I love my space in LA, but I also really love the simple life.
"I like getting up every morning and throwing on a bathing suit or sweatpants and no makeup and just being free with my day.”

The model went on to describe her desire to feel normal, even amid fame and fortune. She revealed that horse riding remains a passion, allowing her to step outside the celebrity bubble.
She said: “I love to feel normal. I love to go to the horse show dressed just like everybody else and have my helmet on and my sunglasses and my uniform, and I can compete under a completely different name.”
Looking back at her early years of fame, Kendall reflected during Emma Chamberlain’s Anything Goes podcast on how she and her siblings balanced school and television.

“We went to school. We went to school as long as we could. I started home school, 11th and 12th grade.
"So even though we had a TV show at home, we were going to regular school all day and had our friends that we had from before the show started. It wasn’t always easy, but it did feel kind of normal.”
She expressed gratitude for her upbringing and support system: “Overall I am really grateful because I think it could have been a lot worse.
"I think that Kylie and I, the one thing we had was a lot of stability, a lot of love and a really great support system and really great friends. There’s also an aspect of us being really grateful that we had older siblings that we got to see do things before us and lead us in a way.”
Kendall’s career has spanned reality television, high-fashion runways, and countless magazine covers.
Yet, despite her extraordinary success, she seems ready to step back, focusing on personal passions, home design, and a lifestyle that prioritizes authenticity and calm over constant public scrutiny.
With this new chapter, Kendall is embracing the freedom to define her life on her own terms, away from the constant demands of fame.
