Kerry Katona has made a statement about "old friendships" in what could be a jibe to her former Atomic Kitten bandmates, who she has been estranged from on-and-off for over two decades.
The former singer took to her weekly New! Magazine column to applaud best friend s Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing for talking through their differences on a new podcast episode, but said she has no plans to make amends with anyone in her own life.
Kerry, who rose to fame in Atomic Kitten back in 1998 and was in the group until 2001, said that she has a "small circle" and "no friendships to resolve" as she looked back on her own friendships.
"I saw some clips of Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing doing a podcast where they spoke about how they have drifted apart over the last few years and hashed out disagreements they had, which I think is really good. It’s nice to be able to do that and admit where you have gone wrong," began Kerry with a positive approach.

She then continued: "It’s different for everybody, but I don’t have any old friendships to resolve. Everyone in my life is in it for a reason. I have a small circle but that’s exactly how I like it."
Mum-of-five Kerry was a forming member of the group alongside Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon and was replaced by Jenny Frost after exiting the band, and had a well-reported "feud" with her bandmates, Natasha in particular.
Kerry quit the group in 2001 after falling pregnant with husband Brian McFadden. Her departure came just days after the release of the band's single, Whole Again, which ended up going to number one with a new video featuring her replacement, Jenny.
Their dislike for each other was palpable, with Jenny once declaring she would 'rather eat her own kidney with a spoon' than work with Kerry.
Kerry rejoined the group - sans Jenny - for TV show The Big Reunion in 2013, which showed just how rocky things were between the girls, and saw her leave once again in 2017.
Liz and Natasha continued as a two-piece following Kerry's departure, but Natasha left the group in October last year - with Kerry joking at the time that she may attempt to rejoin.
She teased on Instagram at the time: "I heard Atomic Kitten are down a girl. I might audition. Do you think they might let me back in? Even with just one member left, I still don't think they will let me back in."
She then made a barbed comment as she referenced the group's famous 2004 hit single Whole Again. She added: "The main thing is, I'm whole again."
