Love Island has officially confirmed the first singles who'll be entering the villa for its 2025 summer series - including one star with a football claim to fame. The ITV2 dating show returns to our screens next week, with a hoping to find romance.
The first three singles to be announced in the cast include motivational speaker Sophie, 29, payroll specialist Meg, 25, landscape gardener Tommy, 22, wealth management client services executive Alima, 23, taxi driver Ben, 23, and personal trainer Dejon, 26. However, it turns out that Dejon already has links to fame thanks to his sports star dad.

Dejon Noel-Williams is the son of Gifton Noel-Williams - a retired footballer who played for Watford, Stoke City and Burnley during his career.

When asked whether he already had any links to fame, Dejon said: "My dad being an ex-professional footballer. I’ve met all kinds of famous people through him.
"When I was younger it was because he was just my dad, but we’d go to a game and fans were asking for photos. I’ve met , he was really nice."
Gifton, 45, began his professional football career in 1996 when he joined Watford and last played for Codicote in 2017 before retiring.
He has since gone on to manage teams, having coached Indian club Real Kashmir back in 2023. He also became a technical director of Grenada Association with Terry Connor later that year.
Both Dejon and his younger brother Isaiah, 22, followed in their dad's footsteps, with the pair also playing professional football. Dejon currently plays for Bedford Town and Grenada, while Isiah currently plays for Kettering Town F.C.

Love Island aired its 10-year anniversary special earlier this week, with the show sharing the audition tapes of some of its most famous contestants. , in which she discussed the "last guy" she was with before meeting future beau y on the show.
Molly said: “The last guy I was with literally told me I was too much for him to handle. Whatever too much actually means."
Another successful star who took part in the series was - who wed footballer Jarred Bowen at the weekend after several years together. She revealed that her new mother-in-law actually voted for her and fellow islander to win the show when she competed back in 2018.
Love Island returns on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
