Weeks after Jake Wood's surprise return to the soap, Max Branning will finally be making his way back to Walford next week. Although we knew months ago that Max would be making his return, fans were left in shock when it was revealed he had connections to Zoe Slater.
Next week, he's back to find her, and of course, he's bumping into familiar faces along the way. He sparks chaos for Zoe, as well as her cousin and his former flame Stacey Slater.
Kat warns Zoe off Max after spotting the pair talking, but it’s clear Max’s attention is on Stacey, and he follows her back to No.31. But what happens next?
However, Stacey and Zoe aren't the only drama Max is involved in as Peter and the family put plans in place for Lauren’s surprise wedding - but will it go ahead?
Lauren and Penny head to the Vic and after casting doubt on Lauren’s relationship, they're both stunned when they discover The Vic is set for a wedding as Peter asks Lauren to marry him. The couple later prepare to marry in front of their family and friends but will Lauren go through with it?
She then gets the shock of her life when her dad Max arrives. Once again, there's even more drama for Max as Cindy Beale is left reeling as she heads to the Vic to confront him about killing her son Steven Beale. But how will things go down?
Coronation Street
Bethany Platt left the street earlier this year, as actress Lucy Fallon headed on maternity leave. Next week, it's time for Bethany to make her return.
It was a dramatic exit for Bethany, who left for a job in London, but unfortunately, things didn't work out - and she's now in trouble with the police. It's Kit who discovers Bethany has returned as he's led to an interview room where he finds Sarah's daughter, who has been accused of car theft.
After quitting her job in London, borrowed her boss’s car without permission and drove it up to Manchester and but can Kit help Bethany get out of trouble? And how will Daniel react to the news of Bethany’s return?
Emmerdale
Robert Sugden features in a new mystery as newcomer Kev finally debuts on the ITV soap. Next week fans will find out the real link between the characters, and why Kev has come to see him.
Spoilers have kept out what that link is, but Robert's sister Victoria Sugden is confused when she arrives home and sees them together, holding hands. It follows Robert receiving a mystery text days before, in scenes this week.
Soon Kev, identified as the mystery man in pictures, heads to the village and asks for specific directions. He then knocks at Robert's door, leaving the character stunned to see Kev.
He's a familiar face for sure, and he lets him in while checking to see if anyone is watching. Inside the house, we learn the man is an acquaintance from prison and as they catch up, Victoria walks in and sees them holding hands.
She's baffled by this, and as Robert gets rid of Kev he knows Victoria is going to have a lot of questions. As he tells her how he knows Kev, will he be truthful and what will we find out?
