Speedway legend Tai Woffinden has published the full list of injuries he
Britain's most successful speedway rider of all time was racing for his Polish club, Rzeszow, last month when he was involved in a three-rider collision on the first bend. Woffinden crashed into the airfence at high speed.
Woffinden, 34, was transferred by helicopter to hospital and placed in a medically induced coma on a ventilator. But Scunthorpe-born Woffinden has now shared a short video of himself walking with the aide of a frame on along with a full list of his injuries.
“10 days post coma just doing a few laps!” he wrote. “Injury list. Double compound right femur fracture (pinned and bolted). Broken back TH9 plated and screwed to TH8 & TH10. Right humorous compound fracture.
“Lost 3L of blood had a transfusion. Dislocated + smashed right elbow. 12 broken ribs + punctured lung. Left broken shoulder blade. Dislocated left shoulder. Wild typing all that out - think thats about it.”

On Sunday Woffinden posted a picture of himself in hospital alongside a brief statement. "Hey guys," he wrote. "Turns out my injuries and an induced coma ain’t no joke. I'm on the mend, please bear with me for now. I just need a little more time to rest.
"I’ll update you all later on in the week. Please know how much I appreciate all the love and support from all over the world."

After racing in Poland, he was due to fly back to the UK and ride for the Sheffield Tigers in the British Speedway Premiership against Birmingham.
"Right now, our hearts are heavy, and we are taking things one moment at a time. Please know how deeply grateful we are for your patience, your love, and your support - it truly means the to us," she said.
"In the midst of this incredibly difficult time, your support reminds us that we are not facing this alone. However, we are still processing everything and need a little more time to understand where things stand before sharing any further updates. We appreciate your patience and understanding more than we can say."
