Send Push

Marks & Spencer is back with their latest autumn collection and has managed to nail it again. Filled with trend-led buys, chic accessories, and cosy knitwear, M&S' drops keep getting better every season.

Yesterday, Mirror's fashion team got a sneak preview of the newest pieces from M&S Collection, Autograph, and Per Una, which have launched online today. Known for striking the perfect balance between affordability, wearability, and on-trend appeal, the autumn range definitely does not disappoint.

From rich chocolate browns that give everyday outfits that luxe look to preppy argyle knitwear making its return, the high street retailer has tapped into some of the biggest trends of the season to create a collection that is equally timeless and stylish.

And it's not just the clothing that makes a statement. The accessories have gotten a seasonal refresh, with adorable bag charms and statement prints that elevate autumn wardrobes.

With certain pieces already gaining buzz online, we'verounded up five buys from the new drop that won't be around for much longer...

Shop the new collection Textured Belted Longline Trench Coat

Available for £90

Crafted from a croc-textured fabric, this maximalist chocolate brown jacket steers away from the traditional tan and beige trench coats into something a little trendier.

Its double-breasted detailing, longline hem, and tie belt make this the kind of jacket you'll style all your autumn looks around. Team with a rich brown jumper and accessories for a colour-drenched fit that looks straight off the runway.

Faux Fur Cow Print Trucker Jacket

Available for £70

Leopard print has always been in fashion (at least in my opinion), but the trend really took off last year thanks to the popular 'mob wife' aesthetic and designer brands showcasing the print on their runways. Although leopard print is still a big deal this year, there's a new print taking over: cow print.

Undeniably linked to the cowboy core craze sparked by Taylor Swift and Beyoncé and the general rise in popularity of country music, cow print is everywhere, so it's no surprise to see it crop up in Marks & Spencer's new collection.

The faux fur and flattering boxy fitof this jacket bring a classy feel to the trend. Team with dark wash denim or tailored trousers for a statement autumnal look.

Faux Leather Bowler Bag

Available for £40

Move over Labubus, there's a new bag charm trend in town. We were obsessed with this leather bowler bag as soon as we spotted it, and the mini version of the bag as a charm was really the cherry on top.

This trending brown handbag is a versatile piecethat immediately elevates any look and makes a welcome difference from the usual shoulder or tote bags we often see.

Wool Blend Argyle Crew Neck Relaxed Jumper

Available for £55

Argyle is making a stylish comeback this season, bringing a touch of retro glam to autumn dressing. The diamond-patterned knit is often associated with preppy styling but has been refreshed for 2025 with slouchy, oversized fits and bold colour contrasts that make it the perfect layering piece.

Layer this trending print over cosy knits, crisp shirts and tailored shorts or under utility-style jackets and trench coats.

Suede Lace Up Side Detail Runner Trainers

Available for £50 here

We've moved away from the chunky dad-style trainer, withsleeker, flatter trainersbeing all the rage, and these fit the bill perfectly. The upper material of these trainers is real suede leather, which really adds to their durability and comfort.

And the back contrast stripe perfectly fits into the retro trainer trend we've seen a lot of over the past year. With trending styles from Miu Miu x New Balance setting you back around £600, these are far more purse-friendly.

If you're after more high-street edits that look way more high-end than their prices, online retailer Very has just launched its latest own-brand range, The Very Collection, a luxury-looking rebrand filled with timeless staples and trend-led pieces. We're also loving New Look's Luxe for Less autumn range.
