A woman who stole thousands of pounds from her partner through "despicable" lies has been told by ajudge that she can never return to a UK city.
Yasmin Green, 34, from Grimsby, admitted fraud of a £5,000 loan to buy a home that did not exist and creating a false land registry document for the fictitious home. She also accepted that she created a false persona in order to deceive her lover into going along with thehouse purchase and obtained finance with a bank for the purchase of a car in the victim's name without her knowledge, a court heard.
The judge banned her from entering Hull for life and told her to pay some of the money back in compensation, telling her she had "lied and cheated on her lover."

Prosecuting at Grimsby Crown Court, David Ward said the two women had been in a relationship for a year after meeting on a Tinder date in 2020. The woman had been told she was meeting with another woman, called Danielle, in a bar. The victim met with Yasmin Green, who told her that Danielle was late.
Mr Ward said the complainant had no recollection of what happened next. "But she woke up with the defendant at her home the next day. The defendant told her she had met Danielle, but the victim could not remember anything of the previous night," said Mr Ward.
He added the victim still contacted the fictitious 'Danielle,' not knowing that it was really Green that she was talking to. He said she continued to deceive her by pretending to be Danielle.
In October 2020 the complainant received messages from 'Danielle' stating she was in financial trouble and needed money. Green suggested to the victim that she should take out loans to buy the flat that 'Danielle' lived in.
But it was a ruse as the property did not exist. The victim was told that if she paid £5,000 she would become a 50 per cent owner of the flat, said Mr Ward. The money was handed over and she asked for written confirmation. Green sent her a fake mortgage document. A friend of the victim told her the document was fake.
The victim again became suspicious in March 2021 when she received an email stating that car finance had been set up in her name. Two payments had been made.
"At no time has she given the defendant permission to do this," said Mr Ward. He told how on May 3, 2021, the complainant did a credit check and found that a credit card had been taken out in her name. "She realised that the defendant must have been accessing her phone and taking the details of her bank cards without her knowledge while she was in the house," said Mr Ward.
The prosecutor said: "At one point the defendant took her dog away and kept it at another address." She even called Pet Plan and changed her dog's owner details to that of her own.
When the complainant began to realise what was happening, Green told her that if she reported matters, she would go to prison and she was on a suspended sentence. That was another lie, reports GrimsbyLive.
In a victim impact statement, the court heard how the victim had to take a year off work to deal with the financial fallout and poor credit rating caused by Green. She said: "Even the mention of her name makes my stomach turn. It makes me think she will do it again. I trusted Yasmin Green but she almost destroyed my life."
The victim said she eventually left her job. She said her former partner was "almost an evil magician". For Green, Amber Hobson submitted letters of reference and a letter from the defendant in which she expressed her remorse and apologised to her victim. "She wants to do anything she can to help her former partner to heal," she said. She said her client worked in logistics.
Sentencing Green, Recorder Nicholas Worsley KC said: "People who love people do not do what you did." He said she had continued to lie throughout the course of the relationship.
"Over months and months you lied and cheated with the person you were supposed to be in love with. You were living with her. She believed you because she fell in love with you. You are a liar," said the judge.
"Your practice of deception destroyed her trust and confidence. Your conduct was despicable. Someone who loves someone does not behave like you. Thank heavens she became wise to your behaviour. She became aware of what you were."
He said the probation report highlighted her lack of empathy to her victim. "It underlines the manipulative nature of your character," said Recorder Worsley KC. He said the behaviour was "utterly disgraceful and despicable."
He imposed a two-year term in prison suspended for two years. Green was ordered to attend 30 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days and perform 300 hours of unpaid work.
A Restraining Order was imposed for life and she must not contact her former lover from Hull, directly or indirectly and never to use her name in any social media posts. Recorder Worsley KC also banned her from entering Hull for life. He ordered compensation of £300 per month for the next two years and a surcharge of £156.
