If you're a customer looking for some new and games, then Sony's latest sale has come at the perfect time.

The PlayStation Multiverse of Games sale features huge discounts on hundreds of games, including reductions for titles such as Helldivers 2, GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, EA UFC 5 and Armored Core: Ghosts of Rubicon.

If you're working on more of a budget, then the good news is that there are some superb games available for less than £5.

For example, if you've been tempted to try Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, then you can purchase the original for just £4.99. That's a saving of 80%.

"You're Henry, the son of a blacksmith," reads the Kingdom Come Deliverance description. "Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family. Narrowly escaping the brutal attack, you grab your sword to fight back. Avenge the death of your parents and help repel the invading forces!"

Then there are the two Middle-earth games, which feature the excellent Nemesis system, where enemies remember previous encounters with your character.

Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor is available for £3.99, while sequel Shadow of War costs just £4.54.

With GTA 6 delayed until 2026, you can get your open-world fix with the cult classic action game Sleeping Dogs, which costs £3.74.

Speaking of open-world games, the EA-published Burnout Paradise Remastered now costs just £4.49 as part of the sale.

One hidden gem that's worth seeking out is first-person shooter ION Fury, which is reduced to £4.99. The game is described as a spiritual successor to the likes of Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, and Blood.

Indeed, it features an old-school art style reminiscent of those early shooters, only with modern controls and quality of life features.

"Shelly 'Bombshell' Harrison takes on a quest to slay evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel in the streets of Neo DC," Sony explains.

"She leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There's no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning."

Finally, if you missed it first time around, it's worth checking out Batman Return to Arkham, which is down to £3.49.
