An eyebrow-raising video of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has resurfaced on TikTok showing the exact moment issued a command to follow royal protocol during in 2019. Whilst the Sussexes were on the balcony for the ceremonial occasion, could be seen turning around to chat with her husband just before the national anthem was played.
However, as the national anthem began playing, Harry could be seen telling Meghan to "turn around" when she tried to engage with her husband, who was standing directly behind her. But he didn't stop there - seeming to tell her off a second time when she tried to initiate a conversation again. This was so that the were looking directly outwards from the balcony as they all honoured Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. However, the Duchess of Sussex appeared to look irritated when this interaction happened.
Some social media users have criticised the Duchess of Sussex for her behaviour displayed on the balcony. One wrote: "She had absolutely no interest in learning even basic royal etiquette!"
Another wrote: "She looks like she's going to cry."
Others had sympathy for The Duchess of Sussex, who had only recently entered the royal household. One social media user wrote: "Do people forget that couples can fight and be annoyed at each other? Or are Meghan and Harry exempt from this?"
Another fan felt sympathy towards the Duchess: "I'm not a Meghan fan by any means, but I felt so sad for her here."
Judi James, a body language expert, spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk at the time to explain and also why Harry acted the way he did.
She said: "It's easy to forget how much pressure Meghan might have felt herself to be under, coming from the US which has no Royal Family, and immersing herself in both her husband's family and the more formal side of his lifestyle."

Ms Jamesb added: "Harry's body language seems to do little to support or protect her. He should have been the one royal responsible for hosting his wife in the UK and helping her navigate her way through the royal protocol rules.
"Instead, when she turns, his expression seems to remain impassive and at the second turn he appears to enforce royal protocol with a meaningful and rather authoritative eyebrow flash."
Meghan is not the only royal to have been told off during a balcony appearance. In 2016, the late Queen was seen tapping the then Duke of Cambridge on the arm as he crouched down to tend to .
Close examination of the moment appears to show the late monarch saying "Stand up William".
