Sky is dishing out cheap MacBooks but Argos has a rare Apple deal that's better

The latest and greatest MacBook Air M4 already felt a little more affordable, thanks to a price drop from Apple, but things are now even less expensive due to some rare deals. Those heading into an Apple shop will currently find the Air priced at £999 (£899 with Apple's student discount) but there are numerous deals that cut that cost or offer an easy way to pay via monthly instalments.

Sky is currently running a deal that offers this new MacBook at its 'lowest' price, and means customers can pop one of these machines on their laps for just £20 per month. That makes things feel seriously affordable especially as there's only a £2 upfront fee to pay.

The only thing to note is that this deal is based on a 48-month contract with the total price over the term working out at £962. That's still slightly cheaper than buying directly from Apple, but there is a way to get this powerful laptop at an even better price.

Argos has just launched a MacBook deal which slashes things to just £849 - that's the UK retailer's 'lowest ever' price.

The full range of colours are available including the stunning new Sky Blue shade which was introduced earlier this year.
