Jaipur: In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Pratapgarh district police raided a poultry farm in Nongawa village Sunday, seizing narcotics worth Rs 5 crore and a cache of illegal arms. Police also arrested an accused identified as Fardeen Khan Pathan (25). His two brothers, Nadeem Khan and Sherdil alias Daddu, remain at large.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the farm on Nagdeda Road, which allegedly served as a front for a drug manufacturing and distribution network run by the three brothers.
The raid led to the seizure of nearly 2kg of MDMA, over 3kg of crystal powder, and 1kg of white powder used in drug production. Authorities also recovered two 12-bore guns, a country-made pistol, 161 live cartridges, and an unregistered motorcycle.
