When asked about the match and standout players, Varun enthusiastically mentioned Vaibhav and said, "Woh Vaibhav Suryavanshi, 14 saal ka hai, maar raha hai" .

Varun is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' in Scotland. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. It’s a 30-day schedule that includes comedy scenes, chase sequences, and two song shoots, promising a fun David Dhawan-style entertainer. The movie also features Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, and Mouni Roy, adding to the comic chaos.
