Swiggy Instamart has launched a new feature for its customers. Called the 'Maxxsaver', it is an in-app feature that allows Swiggy Instamart customers to save up to Rs 500 on bulk purchase orders. All customers will be automatically enrolled in the Maxxsaver feature . In a statement, the company said that the feature is aimed at making everyday shopping more affordable and rewarding.
Swiggy Instamart-rivals Zepto , Flipkart Minutes and BigBasket had earlier introduced discounts on products for higher cart values. For example, Zepto offers discounts on cart exceeding the value of Rs 1,000.
Swiggy Instamart currently has a store assortment of over 35,000 products from groceries and daily essentials to electronics, smartphones, fashion, makeup, toys, etc. The company recently expanded its services to 100 cities across India. As of January, it operated 800 dark stores across 84 cities in the country.
Announcing the new feature, Amitesh Jha, CEO of Swiggy Instamart, said in a statement that “By passing on the benefits of larger orders, we're able to offer better pricing to our users. Whether it's a top-up or a weekly haul, users can effortlessly unlock maximum savings on every order”.
Swiggy Instamart starts delivering smartphones
Last month, Swiggy Instamart launched smartphone deliveries from top brands. Customers in 10 major cities can now order the latest iPhone 16e along with Android models such as the Samsung M35, OnePlus Nord CE, and Redmi 14C. The company has promised that smartphones ordered via this platform will be delivered in just 10 minutes.
The service targets customers looking for gifts, upgrades, or impulse purchases. Swiggy Instamart’s smartphone delivery service is currently available in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Faridabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Pune. The company also revealed its plans to expand this service further to other cities in the country.
