BJP trying to weaken SC, says Congress

Congress on Saturday accused BJP of targeting and trying to " weaken " Supreme Court . The party's general secretary in-charge of communications Jairam Ramesh said that "those holding Constitutional posts, ministers and even BJP MPs are all speaking against SC , which is only saying that while making laws, don't go against the basic structure of the Constitution". Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh alleged , "they (BJP) are busy weakening SC . The powers given by the Constitution to SC are being sought to be weakened."
